opportunity has a difficulty and every difficulty has an opportunity. What is your attitude in the face
of obstacles? Adversity is prosperity to those who possess a great attitude. Yes, adversity is
uncomfortable but to those with a great attitude it represents opportunity. There is a tremendous
power within you to not only overcome adversity but to use it to grow and rise. You were created for
success !

The view from the top is always glorious...but getting there requires a key ingredient.

- Superior skills will not make up for it
- A well-rounded formal education cannot replace it
- Calculated plans cannot replace it
- A magnetic personality cannot make up for it
- Talent will not replace it
- Genius will not make up for it

That ingredient is PERSISTENCE. It is to success what oxygen is to water! Develop persistence and the summit will be yours and yes, the view from the top is going to be awesome!

Do you take time to be alone? Do you create “me time?” Creating ‘me time’ is not only important, it is essential and good for your health. We live very fast paced lives, chasing deadlines, opportunities,taking care of families, playing our part in the communities we live in, amongst other things. In the
process we hardly have time to ourselves. Today I am encouraging you to take time to check in on yourself. The beauty of this exercise is that its not the length of ‘me time’ you create but rather its quality – it can be a few hours, a day, a week.

Some benefits of doing this are, it relieves stress,
boosts your mood, allows your brain to reboot and unwind, gives you an opportunity to discover yourself and find your voice, it increases productivity, it sparks creativity, gives you an opportunity to plan your life, increases empathy. There’s a whole host of benefits. Taking good care of yourself allows you to take good care of those near and dear to you. Try it, you will be glad you did!

Forgiveness is an incredibly powerful force. It means let go completely. Forgive yourself, forgive others. You can’t change what you did neither can you change what others did. Today there are many people walking around with tremendous feelings of guilt, resentment and anger. Guilt, anger and resentment are some of the most destructive emotions that anyone can experience.

Forgiveness is not the equivalent of weakness. It is one of the most liberating things you can ever do! Respect yourself and form the habit of not holding on to anything that causes you to feel guilt, anger and resentment. Forgive and watch yourself become the person you have always wanted to be!
